The Monastery Of Parkour

The Monastery of Parkour is a work-in-progress progression-based Minecraft parkour map!

Inside the Monastery are magical paintings that transport players into a variety of unique parkour worlds. Each world has its own theme, checkpoints, rewards, hidden collectibles, and secrets to discover. . .

As you progress, you’ll earn emeralds by reaching checkpoints, finding collectibles, completing trials, and defeating bosses. Emeralds can be spent on cosmetics, useful items, and unlocking new areas of the Monastery!

Each world also contains 7 hidden optional collectibles, and fully completing a world rewards a special currency used to buy more exclusive cosmetics.

The map is not strictly linear, so you’ll usually have multiple worlds available at once. If one world is too difficult or just not your style, you can skip it and come back later.

There are also hidden trials scattered throughout the Monastery. These are small minigame-style challenges that give players another way to earn emeralds if they’re struggling with a particular parkour world.

The entire project is designed to be multiplayer compatible, and it uses only a datapack! No mods are required to play.

The map is now in a much more stable state, and a pre-demo download is available for anyone who wants to try it out. Feedback is still very welcome, especially if you find bugs, get lost, notice balance issues, or have suggestions.

Uses the “Stay True” Texture Pack

Optionally uses the “Music Triggers” mod if you want music and ambience. To get the music files, download from planet minecraft.
