FireWatch Map (Currently Only Old Version only Works)

Welcome to the Shoshone National Forest! (Firewatch Recreation)

Status: ALPHA Phase Please note: This map is currently in its early Alpha development stage! A massive update is planned where the entire terrain will be completely reworked and overhauled using WorldPainter to create a much more accurate and immersive landscape. Expect big changes in future updates!

🌲 About the Map

This project is a dedicated Minecraft recreation of the beautiful and mysterious world of the video game Firewatch. Whether you want to roleplay, explore, or just admire the scenery, this map brings the Wyoming wilderness to life block by block.

🏕️ Current Features

Even though the map is in Alpha and the terrain is subject to change, there are already plenty of iconic, fully built locations to explore:

• Henry’s Tower & Delilah’s Tower: Both lookout towers are completely built and fully decorated on the inside and outside.

• Trails & Radio Lines: Carefully decorated paths guide you through the wilderness, following the main radio lines.

• The Downed Radio Line: Visit the exact spot where the communication line was mysteriously cut.

• Camp Arapahoe: Explore the abandoned teenage scout camp.

• The Lake: A scenic recreation of the lake area.

• Ned Goodwin’s Secret Base: Venture off the beaten path to find the hidden bunker belonging to Ned.

• Cave 452: The deep, dark cave system featuring the tragic location where Brian Goodwin was found.

🚧 What’s Coming in Future Updates?

• A complete terrain overhaul using WorldPainter for a highly realistic environment.

• Smoother transitions between biomes and locations.

• Even more detailed points of interest!
