True Angling

Make fishing an adventure.

• 12 species: lambari, tilapia, common carp, catfish, rainbow trout, golden dorado, peacock bass, arapaima, swamp eel, sardine, bluefin tuna and swordfish.
• Where you fish matters: rivers and lakes, ocean, swamps, jungle waters and cold waters. Some bite only by day or at night; some love the rain.
• 3 baits in your offhand: Worm, Dough and Shiny Lure. The favorite bait triples the chance of that fish and makes it bigger.
• Every fish has a size and weight (“52 cm · 2.4 kg”) and the name of who caught it. Catch a giant!
• Server records: the biggest of each species is announced to everyone and shown on the Trophy Board.
• Angler’s Journal: your catches, your best size and hints for the fish you’re still missing.
• 8 achievements. Fish can be cooked. English, Portuguese and Spanish.

• Worm Bait (x4): dirt + rotten flesh.
• Dough Bait (x4): bread + wheat.
• Shiny Lure (x2): iron nugget + glowstone dust + feather.
• Trophy Board: an item frame surrounded by sticks.
• Angler’s Journal: a cod on top of a book.

Install

Java 26.3: put the data pack in your world’s datapacks folder and enable the resource pack (additional file). /function lfish:give gives you baits, the journal, a trophy board and a fishing rod.
A Bedrock 26.50 version is also available (separate project).
