SurviWar

Introduction

SurviWar is a multiplayer team survival PVP datapack for Minecraft Java Edition. Players enter as teams, gather resources and arm themselves in the Overworld, then are teleported to an arena for the final battle.

You can think of it as a more fast-paced large-scale “The Walls”: survival and development early on, direct confrontation later, and the last team standing wins.

This datapack requires a dedicated resource pack please download it.

Gameplay

1. Players choose to participate or spectate in the lobby, and select a team; they can also choose random team assignment.
2. At least 2 participating players and 2 enabled teams are required. Once all participating players are ready, the game automatically starts a countdown.
3. After the game starts, players from each team are teleported to different locations in the Overworld.
4. Players have few minutes to gather resources, craft equipment, and prepare for battle.
5. After the gathering phase ends, all competing players are teleported to the arena and PVP is enabled.
6. Players fight for few minutes in the final battle, and the last team standing wins.

Players who die enter spectator mode. If no winner has been decided when the battle time ends, the round ends in a draw.

Installation

1. Download this repository and place the surviwar folder into your save’s datapacks directory.
2. Download and install the SurviWar resource pack.
3. Enter the save, or run /reload in-game to reload the datapack.
4. Once all players have entered the lobby, selected teams, and are ready, the game can begin.
