Pre-End Elytra Crafting (Hard)

Pre-end Elytra Crafting you actually have to work for.

A balanced Crafting recipe for an elytra this is the Hard mode recipe.

With some netherite scrap, an eye of ender, some phantom membrane, a netherite smithing template, and a recovery compass, you can make your own elytra without ever going to the end. 

This requires you to stay up late, dig for ancient debris, visit a bastion, nether fortress, and a ancient city to make an elytra.  The easy version doesn’t require you to go to an ancient city. (You can find this in my other projects.)
