KnightedNerd’s Apotheosis Rebalance
This is an unofficial modified balance datapack built for my modpack KnightedGhost’s Beyond
A complete balance overhaul for Apotheosis’ gems and affixes, and supported compatibility addons.
Major Changes:
- Removes Life Steal, Current HP Damage, Overheal, and extreme execution effects
- Reduces excessive attack speed, crit damage, armor bypass, spell power, healing, movement speed, and other stacked multipliers
- Adds exclusivity rules so one item cannot roll every major damage or defense bonus
- Rebalances gems, Curios, spellcasting gear, Malum equipment, Ars Nouveau bonuses, and Iron’s Spellbooks compatibility
- Prevents mob effects from stacking into extreme amplifier levels
- Reduces excessive Luck, Looting, experience, and bonus-drop effects
- Includes optional balanced Ancient Reforging
The goal is to keep Apotheosis gear powerful and rewarding without allowing optimized builds to instantly delete bosses or become unkillable.
Built for Minecraft 1.21.1 and tested with Apotheosis 8.5.4
