neku’s skins

neku’s skins adds a complete cosmetic and progression system for TaCZ and supports skin packs for LesRaisins Tactical Equipements.

Discover blueprints, unlock special designs, spend materials to apply them and customize both your weapons and gloves through an interface integrated into the TaCZ gun smith table.

Included content

• More than 800 skin variants for over 50 TaCZ weapons
• Special community designs and 16 basic dye colours
• Full and fingerless gloves
• Custom glove skins and dyeing
• Texture-changing and model-changing weapon skins
• LOD textures, custom geometry, normal maps and specular maps

LesRaisins Tactical Equipements

Optional compatibility is included for:

• Melee weapons
• Throwable items
• Consumable items

Skin-pack creators can add cosmetics for LesRaisins items using the same pack system. LesRaisins Tactical Equipements is supported but not required.

Blueprints and progression

Basic colour skins can be applied directly using Minecraft dyes. Special designs may require a blueprint.

Blueprints can appear in structure loot or wandering trader offers. Picking one up permanently studies it for that player, and unlocked designs remain available after death.

Applying a skin consumes the materials configured by its creator. All unlocks and costs are validated by the server.

Gloves

Craft, equip and customize full or fingerless gloves from the gun smith interface.

Gloves support custom textures, models and dyes, and are rendered both in first person and on the player model.

Community skin packs

Additional packs can be installed without modifying the mod JAR.

The built-in pack browser can find and download manually reviewed packs from Modrinth. Installed packs can be reordered by priority, and compatible blueprint definitions from multiple packs are merged automatically.

Packs can contain:

• Weapon and item textures
• Replacement models
• LOD textures
• Blueprint definitions and material costs
• Custom names, descriptions and colours
• Author credits and social links
• TaCZ and LesRaisins Tactical Equipements skins

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1 (fabric, and port to 1.21.1 is planned)
• Forge
• TaCZ 1.1.8 or newer
• Client and server installation for multiplayer

Modpack usage
You are free to include neku’s skins in both free and paid modpacks. No additional permission is required, provided the mod itself is not redistributed or sold separately.
