介绍

Fight the world border for every block!

Donate items to get points. Hold on to points to expand the world border. Work together to unlock new biomes, find ways
around scarce resources, and compete for the top of the leaderboard!

Donating is good, dying is bad

For every item you donate, you get a point! A very convenient conversion rate, if I do say so myself.

But! If you die, you lose some of your points – 10% by default. So try not to die. Dying is bad.

Commands

The most useful commands are listed below. They’ll print help if you use them incorrectly (or don’t use the whole
command)

Permissions are the standard permission string that mods like LuckPerms
and Player Roles use to manage permissions. Default permissions are used if a
permission is unset for a player. See the Minecraft Wiki for more info
about vanilla permission levels (such as Gamemaster – level 2).

|————————————————|———————————————————————————————————————|————————————|——————–|
| /balance, /bal | Shows how many points you have. | wbshop.bal | Allowed |
| /baltop | Shows the players with the most points and how many points they have. | wbshop.baltop | Allowed |

| /wbshop config get pointDivisor | Show the point divisor. | wbshop.config.get.pointDivisor | Allowed |

Border Function

The border doesn’t just move at a fixed rate – it can be a lot more interesting than that! With the power of exp4j, it
can behave pretty much any way you want it to.

Create your own function by mixing functions and variables, or use one of the examples below. To find what is available
in your version, run /wbshop config help borderFunction.

| Function | Description |
|———————————————————————–|——————————————————————————————————————-|
| 100 | Start with 100×100, and stay at 100×100. Forever. |
| points/24 | 24 points to expand one block in each direction. That’s 3 logs turned into sticks. |
| max(sqrt(points),3) | Give one square block per point, but never shrink past 3×3. This is the default. |
| max(min(abs(sqrt(points)/sin(points)),(5*sqrt(points))),3) | Vary wildly between the default and five times the default. |
| max(8,floor(sqrt(x)/4)*8) | Start with a chunk, and gain a full chunk of width at a time. 1 point per 2 square blocks. |
| min(max(max(sqrt(points),3),exp(points/1000)),(6*(points^(1/1.8)))) | Grow slowly to 64×64 blocks at around 4000 points, move fast to 700×700 blocks around 6800, then grow sorta slow. |

Item Values

Every item is worth 1 point by default, so try crafting what you can into more items! A bone block has a lot of
potential – craft it into bone meal, bonemeal a double-tall flower (like a rose bush), then craft the flowers you get
into dye for a total of
1 (bone block) * 9 (bonemeal per bone block) * 1 (flower per bonemeal) * 2 (dye per flower) * 1 (point per flower) = 18 points.

If that’s not your style, you can config it! This config is global, meaning it affects all worlds run on the
configured game. Change it on your server to affect the server, or change it on your machine to affect all your
singleplayer worlds. To change it:

  1. Launch the game with Worldborder Shop installed.
  2. Open your config folder. If you’re playing a world on your computer, it’ll be inside .minecraft.
  3. Open the wbshop folder inside that. There’s a file called global.json
  4. Open global.json with a text editor (Notepad by default on Windows)
  5. Add your settings. Here’s how you’d set oak logs to be worth 15 points, acacia worth 17, all other logs (including stripped ones) worth 16, and make iron worth 2 points per nugget.
{
  "itemValues": {
    "minecraft:oak_log": "15",
    "#minecraft:logs": "16",
    "minecraft:acacia_log": "17",
    "minecraft:iron_nugget": "2",
    "minecraft:iron_ingot": "18",
    "minecraft:iron_block": "162"
  }
}
  1. Save the file. Don’t skip this step, basic text editors usually don’t autosave!
  2. Restart the game. Don’t skip this step either!

Item values like minecraft:oak_log take precedence over tags like #minecraft:logs. If multiple tags apply, the
highest-value one is used. The order they are listed in does not matter.
