# Cassino FPS Fix

**A client-side rendering optimization add-on for Kirri’s Casino 0.9.0, built for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge.**

Large casinos can contain many animated machines, lights and detailed tables. Cassino FPS Fix reduces unnecessary rendering work while keeping the casino games playable.

## Features

– Restores normal view-frustum checks for casino block entity renderers and allows compatible occlusion-culling mods to skip hidden casino objects.
– Adjusts render bounds for tall slot machines and wide marquee signs.
– Reduces redundant geometry in closed models, slot-machine reels and decorative lights.
– Simplifies cosmetic glow meshes and limits selected glow effects at a distance.
– Avoids rendering expensive slot-machine and arcade internals again during shader shadow passes.

## Requirements

– Minecraft **1.20.1**
– **Forge 47.x**; validation used Forge 47.4.20

– **Client installation only**

**This release requires Kirri’s Casino 0.9.0 exactly. Other versions, including 0.10.0, are not supported.** Fabric and NeoForge are not supported by this release.

[Entity Culling](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/entityculling) is recommended for hiding objects behind walls. It is optional for loading this patch. Shaders are optional; shader-pass integration was checked against Oculus 1.8.0.

## Installation

1. Install Forge and the required version of Kirri’s Casino.
2. Place the Cassino FPS Fix JAR in the client’s `mods` folder.
3. Remove older Cassino FPS Fix versions before launching.

The dedicated server does not need this add-on. Install it on each player’s client.

## Visual changes and performance

Some decorative bulbs become flatter, glow effects use simpler meshes, and selected dynamic machine details no longer cast individual shader shadows. Machine cabinets retain their baked-model shadows.

Game logic, bets, odds, rewards and payouts are not changed. Spinning reels and game animations remain visible in the main scene.

Performance gains depend on hardware, scene complexity and graphics settings. No fixed FPS increase is guaranteed.

## Credits and license

Independent add-on; not an official Kirri’s Casino release. The original casino mod is created by **JosemaKirri**. This project does not redistribute Kirri’s Casino code or assets.

Patch code is licensed under the **MIT License**. The original mod keeps its own license.
