ZN Pack Helper

The companion mod for ZN Pack (Naruto) on Minecraft 1.12.2 / Forge. It brings together the pack’s progression rules, jutsu protection, pouch and compatibility fixes.

What it does

• Spawn progression: bandits and Genin unlock after one active hour; rogues and Chunin after five; ANBU, S-rank missing ninjas and Jonin after eight; staged named bosses and tailed beasts after ten. The timer is shared per world. Sleeping and daylight commands do not skip stages.
• Private quest progress: each player has their own FTB Quests progress and purchases. FTB quest-team creation and joining are blocked; the pack’s separate friendly-fire team system remains available.
• AHZNB Jutsu Fix: in configured pack worlds, owned intrinsic jutsu retain their original item data, ownership and mastery through death while ordinary loot can go to a grave.
• Jutsu pouch: 27 slots for the owner’s intrinsic jutsu, using a Baubles belt slot. Open the equipped pouch with /jutsupouch, or right-click the pouch in your inventory. Other players’ jutsu and ordinary items are rejected.
• Pack fixes: paid NPC token redemption, the pack’s protected Ninja XP death penalty, summon charge limits, mastery hints and selected Naruto/Origins/Dynamic Dojutsu compatibility fixes.

Installation and scope

Use the version supplied with ZN Pack on both client and server. This is a pack-specific companion, currently tested with AHZNB Naruto 0.3.1 beta, Forge 14.23.5.2859, Kabuto Addon 5.5.8 beta and Dynamic Dojutsu 1.3.9.7 for 0.3.1.

Required dependencies declared by the mod are AHZNB’s Naruto ShinobiCraft, Kabuto Addon, FTB Library, FTB Quests, Baubles, In Control! and MixinBooter. ZN Pack uses MixinBooter 12.0. Dynamic Dojutsu integration activates when that mod is present. The supplied pack also contains the Naruto add-on, Origins and GraveStone used by the relevant compatibility paths.

Several features use the supplied world’s settings in world/data: ahznb-jutsu-fix.properties, znpack-jutsu-pouch.properties, znpack-options.properties and the Ninja XP death-policy settings. Installing this JAR alone in an unrelated world does not enable every pack feature. Spawn progression persists in world/data/znprogression.properties.

The standalone AHZNB Jutsu Fix is not a separate release yet. Do not install a second copy of these fixes alongside this helper.

Tested

The included systems have been checked on disposable copies of both pack maps. Testing includes spawn-stage boundaries, non-admin quest payments, private rewards, NPC purchases and token redemption, jutsu ownership/mastery preservation and pouch/grave recovery. Multiplayer purchase checks used two actual clients. This is the first public helper release and is marked Beta.

The mod contains the helper code and its own pouch assets. The original Naruto mods and add-ons are separate dependencies and remain the work of their respective authors.
