Boss Music

Requirements: Minecraft 26.3, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer, and Fabric API.

This mod adds boss battle music fit to match the vibe of your boss battles. This is a client only mod, no server install needed. The music plays separately from other music, so even with vanilla music muted, you will still hear the boss music. The settings menu has an unbound keybind, bind a key under Controls -> Boss Music.

– Volume: the boss music ignores the Music slider but still follows Master volume, and it has its own slider in the menu.
– Range: the music plays when the dragon or wither is within 160 blocks of the player, and that range is adjustable. The game doesn’t send a boss to the client from much further than 160 blocks, so raising it past 160 won’t extend how far away you hear it.
– Wither priority: if both bosses are in range, the wither music plays.
– Vanilla music: it’s paused while boss music plays or fades out, and it resumes afterward.
– Config file: config/bossmusic.json holds the same settings as the menu, for players who edit it by hand.
