KindChat — Anti-Swear Chat is a client-side outgoing-chat filter for Minecraft. It cancels messages that match its blocked-word rules and shows a local chat and subtitle reminder: “Don’t swear, act kind! Mod: Anti-Swear Chat”
Balanced defaults
- Blocks selected profanity, including
wtfand common punctuation or spacing variants. - Allows short names such as
fandfi, plus mild words such ascrap,damn, andhell. - Does not combine separate chat messages when checking them.
- Includes a customizable blocked-word list.
Compatibility: Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge. This is a client-side filter; it doesn’t moderate other players’ messages or replace server moderation. Filters can miss unfamiliar spellings, and custom rules may affect what gets blocked.
