# Fishing Expansion (Forge 1.20.1 Port)

**An unofficial Forge 1.20.1 port of _Fishing Expansion_ by [lullaby6](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/fishing-expansion).**

## What it does
Fishing becomes a full ocean progression path. Almost everything here can only be obtained by fishing:

– **Fished-only enchantments:** Water Trail, Ender Hook, Hooked Strike, Dolphin’s Grace, Sea Lure and Treasure Hunter (the last two go up to level V).
– **Real sea creatures on the hook:** you can reel in fish mobs, drowned, guardians, squids, turtles and more, and they get pulled toward you.
– **Special fishes** that grant potion effects such as Resistance or Haste.
– **Ocean structure maps:** monuments, ruined portals, shipwrecks, underwater ruins and a new boat structure.
– **Barrel Ships:** cargo barrels from shipwrecks, full of rare supplies.
– **Turtle Armor:** a very rare underwater end-game set (Conduit Power while swimming, Resistance I and more).
– **Elder Drowned:** a new boss, summoned with an altar of prismarine bricks and a very rare heart you can only fish up.

## About this port
Ported from the original data pack (Minecraft 1.21.x) to a Forge 1.20.1 mod.
