Simple Auto Farm

A small set of single-block machines that automate the boring parts of a modded playthrough: crop farming, ore duplication, an endless water source, FE power — plus an optional Productive Bees beehive that keeps working while you are away.

Supports Minecraft 1.21.1 and 26.1.2 (NeoForge). Every machine is FE driven, keeps its contents when broken, and has an optional auto-eject that pushes products into adjacent inventories — or straight into your ME network if Applied Energistics 2 is installed.

Machines

🌱 Simple Auto Farm

• 9 sample input slots (one item per slot, used as a seed, never consumed) and 27 output slots.
• Grows only plants: vanilla crops, nether wart, saplings, bamboo, sugar cane, mushrooms, flowers, bushes, kelp, glow berries, dripleaf, pitcher plant, glow lichen, and modded plants such as Mystical Agriculture crops.
• Charge it with FE (100 FE per slot per tick by default), all planted crops share one progress bar, and a finished batch is harvested all at once.
• Saplings stay self-sustaining: each harvest returns the log and one sapling (bamboo and mangrove propagules included).
• Budding blocks and other non-plant blocks belong in the ore farm below.

⛏️ Simple Auto Ore Farm

• Same 9 + 27 layout, but duplicates instead of growing: anything tagged c:ores or c:raw_materials comes back as the same item, one for one.
• Budding crystals (amethyst, AE2 certus quartz, GeOre and friends) instead yield their cluster drops, using each mod’s own definition (certus / charged certus / fluix ×4, entro ×1, …).
• Pure tag matching — no name or recipe lookups — so it works with modded ores out of the box.

💧 Simple Water Source

• A glass box holding a single water block: infinite water, and it hydrates farmland in a 9×9 area (the layer below included) exactly like vanilla water.
• Pushes water out of all six faces every tick, so pipes and pumps can take it; right-click with a bucket, a bottle or any fluid container to fill it up.
• Crafted from 8 glass and 1 water bucket.

🐝 Simple Auto Beehive (optional Productive Bees integration)

• Drop filled bee cages into the input slots (up to 9 bees at once) and it periodically produces each bee’s own output — combs, comb blocks, pollen … with Productive Bees’ own chances and amounts, chance outputs included.
• Bee food page (27 slots, toggled by the button in the right-hand column) works like a Productive Bees feeder: a bee only produces while it can reach a matching flower there. Flowers, block flowers (logs, ore blocks, oritech:fluxite_block, …) and containers holding the matching fluid all count. The food is read only and never consumed, and the slots accept anything, so pipes can stockpile it.
• Honey tank: while working it also accumulates honey fluid — always Productive Bees’ own productivebees:honey, so installing another mod with its own honey (e.g. Create) never adds a second honey fluid to your storage. 32 buckets base, growing with the Yield upgrade, amount shown in the GUI title; pipes can drain it from any side, a bucket or any fluid container fills straight from the tank on right click, and auto-eject sends it to the ME network first.
• Comb block upgrade slot: put Productive Bees’ Block Upgrade in it and combs come out as comb blocks.
• Crafted from 4 iron ingots, 2 honeycombs, 4 glass and a vanilla beehive. Soft dependency — the block can be crafted and placed without Productive Bees, it simply produces nothing.

🔥 Simple Generator / Simple Generator Pro

• Simple Generator burns any vanilla fuel for FE and pushes energy into adjacent machines; 2 upgrade slots.
• Simple Generator Pro is 10× the capacity, throughput and output; it runs on lava (pour it in with a bucket or any fluid container — item fuels in the fuel slot are converted to lava automatically), consuming 1 mB per second with a lava bar and flame icon in the GUI.

🕳️ Void Singularity

A full trash can as a block, drawn as an animated end-portal starfield: it accepts and instantly destroys items, fluids and FE from any side, and with Mekanism installed it also voids gases, slurries, pigments and infusions.

⬆️ Upgrades (T1–T4 each)

• Speed — faster farm cycles, more generator output (and more fuel burn).
• Efficiency — less energy per cycle, bigger energy buffer, less fuel.
• Speed + Efficiency — both lines in one item so the third slot stays free; mutually exclusive with the two separate ones it replaces.
• Yield — more products per harvest (×4 / ×16 / ×64 / ×256), bigger output stacks, bigger honey tank.
• Fortune — random bonus output rolled per item (×1 to ×(1+tier)), multiplying with Yield; +25% energy per tier.
• Creative upgrade (creative tab only) — one second per cycle, Integer.MAX_VALUE products/stacks, no energy; generators need no fuel.

Optional integrations

Known limitations

• The auto farm is plants only — crystals, budding blocks and ores belong in the ore farm.
• Ore duplication is decided purely by the c:ores / c:raw_materials tags; a mod that does not tag its ores will not work there.
• The beehive’s honey is deliberately one fluid (productivebees:honey), so it will not collect other mods’ honey.
• A machine harvests into its 27 output slots; with huge yield upgrades the outputs can fill up and the machine pauses until they are emptied.
