ECHOES: Borrowed Faces — Night Terrors

ECHOES is an experimental Minecraft horror modpack designed to make familiar places feel unsafe.

Explore a world where mysterious entities can appear during your adventures, stalk you through the darkness, and turn ordinary survival into an unsettling experience.

The Horror Entities

The pack features a custom horror mod built around five creatures with six appearances:

• Mimic — Phase 1: A deceptive humanoid that hides its true nature.
• Mimic — Phase 2: Its revealed, more aggressive form.
• Second Player: A disturbing imitation of another Minecraft player.
• Blind Spot: A creature designed to freeze when observed and pursue you when you look away.
• Miner: A dangerous underground creature that threatens cave exploration.
• Window Man: A mysterious figure that watches players before entering its hunting phase.

Development Status

ECHOES is currently an experimental release.

Some entity models, animations, artificial intelligence, sounds, and spawning systems may still contain bugs or require improvements.

We recommend testing the modpack in a new world and backing up your saves.

Installation

Import the .mrpack file through the Modrinth App and use the Minecraft and Fabric versions specified by the release.

AI Content Disclosure

Generative AI tools, including ChatGPT and Claude, have been used to assist with programming, asset creation, development, and project documentation. Some code and visual assets contain AI-generated or AI-assisted material.
