Cozy Progression

Cozy Progression adds a Copper-based progression and trading system to Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge. It brings skill purchases, an in-game progression reference, coin-powered villager trading, player delivery orders, daily supply bounties, and profession-aware production together in one mod download.

Built for Cozy SMP and configurable by modpack authors, it connects Reskillable Reimagined and Coin Pouch with supported farming, cooking, crafting, automation, and magic mods. Reskillable supplies the skill system and Coin Pouch supplies the currency; Cozy Progression connects those systems to the features below.

Buy skill levels and plan your next unlock

Spend Copper from your Coin Pouch to purchase skill levels using server-controlled costs. Purchases integrate with the pouch’s payment history. The progression interface lets you browse configured crafting and equipment requirements so you can see what to work toward. Optional JEI and EMI integration provides recipe navigation from supported entries.

Use coins for villager trading

Villagers and wandering traders use coins at a configurable emerald exchange rate. Purchase costs come directly from your virtual pouch and coin earnings go back into it. Normal trade stock, demand, discounts, and additional ingredients still apply, keeping the familiar trading rules while using the same currency as skill purchases and player orders.

Send player orders and earn daily bounty rewards

Order Packages support a single item or a full stack based on that item’s server-reported stack limit. Fill your own request or accept another player’s, set one Copper price for the whole package, and confirm sealing. Server-owned records hold package contents and payments.

The Field Board offers personal daily supply bounties. Deliver the requested supplies to complete your notices and earn their configured rewards. Saved completion records prevent already completed notices from awarding rewards again. Clock rollback recovery keeps daily notices usable when the world’s day counter moves backward.

Connect professions to production

The bundle includes Cozy Chef, Arcanist, Agriculture, Blacksmith, Create Authorization, Field Board, and Skill Progression modules. These apply configured profession requirements to supported cooking, farming, magical production, equipment manufacture, enchanting, and automated production. Supported kitchens, laboratories, farms, and workshops can retain saved authorizations. Equipment attunement connects individual equipment to progression.

Pack authors choose the skill definitions and production rules. Agriculture starts with an empty rule file when none exists; installing this mod does not automatically create a complete profession-based modpack.

Health and compatibility

The included skill/health integration works with Hardcore Lite 1.1.x and Spice of Life: Berry Edition. On world startup, this version sets Hardcore Lite’s minimum to one base heart and enables heart restoration with regular golden apples. Regular golden apples restore lost base hearts up to ten; enchanted golden apples use the world’s maximum-heart setting. Skill health bonuses are tracked separately. Existing spectators are not automatically returned to Survival.

An optional WorldEdit compatibility mixin reduces transition-table memory use for large block-state palettes. WorldEdit remains a separate optional mod and keeps its normal permissions.

Installation and requirements

Use Minecraft 1.21.1, Java 21, and NeoForge 21.1.244 or newer within the 21.1 series. The tested loader is NeoForge 21.1.259. Install the same Cozy Progression bundle on clients and dedicated servers.

Required external mods are Reskillable Reimagined, Coin Pouch, Create, RightClickHarvest, Astikor Carts Redux, Farmer’s Delight, Create: Food, Iron’s Jewelry, Durability Overhaul, Simply Swords, Iron’s Spells ‘n Spellbooks, Hardcore Lite, and Spice of Life: Berry Edition. Their own dependencies are also needed. See this release’s dependency list for supported versions; Coin Pouch requires 0.4.2 or later within 0.4.x, and Hardcore Lite requires 1.1.x. Jade, JEI, and EMI integrations are optional.

The seven included Cozy modules load automatically from the main JAR. Do not install duplicate loose copies alongside the bundle. When upgrading, back up your world, replace the previous bundle, and preserve existing configurations, scripts, and saved progression. Moving from older Cozy SMP releases also requires the matching pack update and dependency changes.

What the download includes

This download contains the Cozy code modules, assets, and generic defaults. It is the Cozy Progression mod, not the complete Cozy SMP modpack. Cozy SMP’s six profession trees, item unlock tables, recipe changes, milestone rewards, KubeJS scripts, and pack balance configuration are supplied separately by the modpack. Installing this JAR alone does not reproduce that setup or its reward catalog.

Existing module configuration names and saved-data identifiers are retained. The bundle does not install player settings or replace your world files. No FTB integration or Simple Schematics module is included.
