A grim, Souls-like progression system designed for dark fantasy RPG modpacks. It unites Difficulty Trials, Class Archetypes, and Starting Keepsake Relics into a single cohesive experience.

 Gothic Difficulty Trials 

Customize the grimness of your journey through modular challenge tiers and curse modifiers:

• Challenge Tiers: Normal, Hard, Veteran, and Chaos.
• Modifiers: Heavy Gravity, Tough Mobs, Bleeding, Tight Parry, Heavy Roll, Night Terrors, Brittle Armory, and Charged Catastrophe.
• Seal Destiny: Lock in your active trial modifiers for the playthrough.

• StartingClasses

Begin as a specialized hero: Gothic Paladin, Blood Berserker, Shadowblade, Cleric of Dawn, Abyss Cultist, and more. Each class equips the player with bespoke starting weapons, armor sets, and specialized traits. 

Starting Keepsakes 

⚠️ SOULBOUND SELECTION: Choose wisely — your keepsake is bound to your soul and can only be selected ONCE per lifetime!

Eight relics await at world generation:

• 🛡️ Ring of the Colossus: +4 Max HP (+2 Hearts), +2 Armor, +25% Knockback Res | Burden: -10% Speed & faster hunger.
• 👁️ Eye of the Abyss: Night Vision in darkness & +15% Night Attack Damage | Burden: -15% Armor under direct sunlight.
• 🩸 Blood Ruby Ring: 6% Melee Lifesteal on all physical strikes | Burden: Food healing regeneration is 35% slower.
• 🍃 Gale Dancer Ring: +18% Sprint Speed, +10% Attack Speed, 6-Block Fall Res | Burden: Fragile (+12% incoming damage).
• 🔮 Ring of Arcana: +25% Spell Power & +25% Mana Recovery | Burden: Magical Drain (-2 Max Hearts).
• ✨ Ring of Seven Virtues: Divine Ward (+4 Armor, +20% Damage Resistance) | Burden: Binds to soul, requires divine discipline.
• 💀 Ring of Seven Curses (HARDCORE): Legendary Loot (+50% Luck) & Bonus EXP | Burden: Enemies deal +30% damage, cannot be removed.
• ⚔️ Pure Destiny (No Keepsake): Zero curses, zero burdens — pure survival mastery.
