Survive Aeronautics Additions

The companion mod of the modpack Survive -Aeronautics, a hardcore Create Aeronautics pack built around TaCZ guns, raids and base defence. It adds the things KubeJS can’t do on its own.

Loot Bag Opener

A Create machine that opens loot bags for you.

• Put bags in through the top or the sides and take the loot out at the bottom. Hoppers, funnels and chutes work on all sides.
• It has 9 input slots and 12 output slots.
• Stress impact is 8 SU per RPM, like the Mechanical Press.
• Speed depends on RPM: 32 RPM = 30 s per bag, 64 RPM = 15 s, 128 RPM = 7 s, 256 RPM = 3 s. Below 32 RPM it stands still.
• Bags give exactly the same loot as opening them by hand, including gun quality rolls.
• It opens all of the pack’s bags: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Boss, and the Nether bags Molten, Demonic and Corrupted.

Ammo from backpacks

TaCZ only reloads from the player’s inventory. While you hold a gun, matching ammo is moved from your Sophisticated Backpacks (inventory or back slot) into your inventory, so you always carry two magazines’ worth. This needs TaCZ and Sophisticated Backpacks; without them it stays off.

Gun scrap ingredient

A recipe ingredient type survive:gun that tells TaCZ guns apart by their pack quality and by whether they come from the Nether gun packs. The pack uses it for the crushing wheel gun scrap recipes.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1
• Create 6.0 or newer (required)
• TaCZ and Sophisticated Backpacks (optional, for the backpack ammo)

This mod is made for Survive -Aeronautics. The Loot Bag Opener uses the pack’s loot tables (survive:bags/*) and loot bags, so outside the pack it has nothing to open. Needed on both client and server.

Credits

The block textures are built from Create’s brass casing and gearbox (MIT, by the Create team) and the Loot Plus epic bag (Academic Free License 3.0). The GUI is based on the vanilla furnace screen.
