Electric Advantage 3

Wire up a workshop, charge a battery bank, and put electricity to work from the mine to the greenhouse. Electric Advantage 3 reimagines DrCyano’s electric machines for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge, as an expansion for Power Advantage Revived.

What it adds

• Generation and storage. Generate power from sunlight, flowing water, or steam. Route it with cables and switches, and store it in rechargeable batteries fitted into a battery array.
• Factory machinery. Build electric furnaces, crushers, ovens, stills, pumps, and plastic refineries. Set a pattern in the automated assembler and feed it parts to run supported crafting recipes.
• Greenhouses. Run a cluster of growth chambers from a control unit supplied with electricity, water, and fertilizer. Each chamber has three growing lanes, so you can grow different plants from suitable seeds and soils.
• Mining, lighting, and defence. Mine a 3-by-3 face with the electric drill, use scaffold to move it, light the workshop with LED bars, and defend it with laser turrets.
• Materials and electronics. MMD OreSpawn places lithium and sulfur deposits. Turn raw materials into circuit boards, solder, power supplies, and batteries for your workshop.

Getting started

Give a photovoltaic generator some daylight, connect it to a battery array with an electric cable, and put a rechargeable battery in the array. Once it’s charging, add a machine to the line. For a water-powered setup, the hydroelectric generator needs water flowing directly underneath it; still water won’t turn the turbine.

Several machine and electronics recipes only appear when their required material tags are supplied by your pack. Add a compatible materials mod or data pack for ingredients such as steel plates and rubber or plastic. Complete survival progression with external material providers is still being verified.

Requirements and world compatibility

• Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.265 or later in the 21.1 series.
• Power Advantage Revived 3.1 or later in the 3.x series, MMDLib 2.0 for NeoForge, and MMD OreSpawn 4.1 for NeoForge 1.21.1.

Start a new world. This is a rewrite, not a supported upgrade for an existing Electric Advantage 2.x or baseElectric world.
