Minion Farmer

Minion Farmer: cute little Minions that farm and fish for you. Give one a Minion Base and some emeralds and it harvests
every ripe crop, replants it, carries the harvest to a chest, chatters in its own gibberish and docks on its base
to refuel, like a robot vacuum.

Features

• Minion Base and emerald fuel: emeralds power every job. The Minion carries a small tank and refuels from its base’s store, then naps on the base when everything runs out.
• Auto farming: wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroots, nether wart, cocoa, sugar cane, bamboo, cactus, pumpkins, melons, berries, honey from full bee nests and modded crops. Works bare-handed; a hoe speeds it up with Efficiency and Fortune. Never tramples farmland.
• Fishing (Lv.3+): give it a fishing rod and it casts a bobber into water near its base, with Lure and Luck of the Sea.
• Lumberjack (Lv.2+): give it an axe and it fells whole trees (2×2 giants too), gathers the saplings, sticks and apples, and replants. Houses are never touched.
• Guarding (Lv.5): give it any weapon (even wheat) and it fights monsters in its area and defends you. Give it a bow or crossbow and some arrows and it shoots them instead.
• Lives like a villager: with nothing to do it strolls around or chats with your other Minions, and at night it sleeps on its base and wakes at dawn.
• 15 cute looks and Duck and Swan pedal boats for two.
• Jetpack: double-tap Jump and fly, arcade style: climb, drift, sink slowly, then glide like an elytra with a jet boost. Runs on furnace fuel (a lava bucket lasts over 16 minutes).
• Two storage modes: keep items in the Minion, or let it carry the harvest to a chest or barrel you bind.
• Five levels: upgrade with emeralds for a bigger radius, more slots and more speed. Chopping unlocks at Lv.2, fishing at Lv.3 and guarding at Lv.5.
• Changes look as it grows: tool belt, straw hat, then a crown with gold goggles.
• Full of personality: animated model (waddle, harvest swing, blinking, level-up dance) and an Animalese-style chirpy cartoon voice with a tone for every look (bright Minions, a deep slow bear, a squeaky bunny, a gloomy donkey, a croaky frog, a buzzing bee), with its words shown above its head.
• Take it anywhere: pack a Minion into an Empty Minion Egg with all its items and place it somewhere else.
• Yours alone: name your Minions, and nobody else can break your base or hurt them.
• Commands: /minion list, /minion tp <id>, /minion remove <id>.

Getting started

1. Craft a Minion Egg: 4 emeralds in the corners, 4 iron ingots on the sides, an egg in the middle.
2. Craft a Minion Base (EIE / IHI / SSS: emeralds, iron, a hay bale, smooth stone slabs) and place it in your farm. Put emeralds in it.
3. Right-click the ground with the egg. The Minion belongs to you, claims the free base and works around it.
4. Right-click it to open its menu: give it a hoe (optional, it speeds farming up), a fishing rod or an axe, choose its jobs and crops, bind a chest, change the radius and upgrade.

Requirements

• Minecraft 26.3, Fabric Loader 0.20.1+, Java 25
• Fabric API and GeckoLib 5.5.7+ (required)
• Install on both the client and the server.

Configuration

Optional config/minionmod.json (none is written by default; create it with just the keys you want): upgrade costs, radius and inventory per level, speed, chatter, voice on/off, speech bubbles,
whether to pause while the owner is offline, and which crops are allowed.
