Connected Glass

Vanilla glass, but it finally connects. Place glass blocks and panes next to each other and they merge into one clean surface, with no frame around every single block.

Features

• Connected glass blocks. Glass, tinted glass and all 16 stained glass colors join into one continuous sheet, with the frame drawn only around the outer edge.
• Seamless glass panes. Panes merge horizontally and vertically with no gaps or seams. Stacked panes form a solid wall.
• Vanilla style. Same colors, same shine marks, same transparency. Only the connections change.
• Lightweight. Textures and models only, no performance impact.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1
• NeoForge
• ConnectedTexturesMod is required for the glass blocks. Panes use plain resource pack models and do not need it.

Installation

1. Install ConnectedTexturesMod.
2. Put the zip into your resourcepacks folder (do not unzip it).
3. Enable Connected Glass in Options > Resource Packs.
4. Move it above any other pack that changes glass, or those packs will override it.
5. Press F3 + T after changes to reload.

Notes

• Panes only merge with panes of the same color. Different colors keep a visible border, since they are different blocks.
• Works in modpacks. Feel free to include it, and credit is appreciated.

Troubleshooting

• Glass looks like vanilla: CTM is not installed, or another pack sits above this one.
• Odd glass after updating: remove old glass packs and reload resources.
