Stackable Potion Duration

Ever wondered why drinking two potions with the same effect doesn’t simply give you twice the duration?

This mod was created to fix exactly that.

With Stackable Potion Duration, drinking multiple potions with the same effect will add their durations together instead of wasting the remaining time or simply refreshing the effect.

✨ Example

• Drink 1× 3-minute Fire Resistance → 3 minutes

• Drink 2× 3-minute Fire Resistance → 6 minutes

• Drink 3× 3-minute Fire Resistance → 9 minutes

The goal is simple: potions should behave the way they feel like they should.

Minecraft already allows you to stack many items and resources, so having multiple potions with the same effect feels like they should naturally be usable together. Instead of constantly waiting for an effect to expire or wasting part of a potion’s duration, this mod lets you combine them into one longer-lasting effect.

🎯 Why was this mod created?

Honestly, because it just makes sense.

Sometimes you want to prepare for a long mining session, exploration trip, dungeon or adventure and bring several potions with you. With this mod, you can simply drink them and enjoy the combined duration.

No complicated mechanics. No unnecessary changes. Just a small quality-of-life improvement that feels like it should have been part of the game from the beginning.
