Droplets Of Thirst

Droplets of Thirst is a fork of Thirst was Taken by ghenghen_, adding few more ways of dealing with thirst, a new system of how climate affects it, and lots of configuration options for pack makers, server owners or players who want to tailor the experience however they like.

The water purity mechanic was also expanded and improved (more levels of purity, and water purity depends on where it is drawn from), and compatibility with several other popular mods was implemented to make it play nicer alongside others.

This mod offers compatibility with:

Cold Sweat: If Cold Sweat is installed, Droplets uses its climate and body temperature systems to derive thirst.

Serene Seasons: The season’s temperature also affects thirst.

Traveler’s Backpack: Drinking from a backpack’s tank hydrates with the water purity from the tank.

Vampirism and Supernatural: If you become a vampire, you get thirsty and can only quench that thirst with blood. Water doesn’t do it for you anymore.

Mekanism, Immersive Engineering: their pumps keep the water purity.

Supplementaries: the faucet and the jar keep water purity.

JEI and EMI: Pages showing items that contribute Hydration.

Jade: Shows the purity of water in a container.

Appleskin: If you have it installed and you hide the outline for the saturation, the hidration outline is also hidden. (IDK why would you do this if you’re installing appleskin but you do you I guess)

Farmer’s Delight: What’s the point of a thirst system if drinks doesn’t help you? Farmer’s delight and its addons add an obscene amount of drinks, so Droplets accept them all as hydration sources. Balance might be a bit off but you can change it to your liking.

Please Don’t add this mod together with

Tough As Nails, Legendary Survival Overhaul, Homeostatic, Survive, Thirst Was Taken, Thirst Was Taken 2 or Thirst Was Reclaimed.

Mostly because these mods do the same in other ways so there’s kind of no point, and no compatibility is made for it.
