Live the world of The Beginning After the End: awaken a mana core, bond with a mana beast, and climb from an unawakened child to a white-core mage among gods.

TBATE Craft is a fan-made NeoForge 1.21.1 mod that brings the world of Dicathen into Minecraft. You get a full magic system built around the mana core, a story you play through in acts, and the places, people and wars of the novel. It is based on The Beginning After the End by TurtleMe.

Your mana core

• Meditate to awaken your core, then refine it through every stage, from black to white. Each colour gate is a trial of its own: the Steady Flame, the Element Communion, the Silver Ordeal and the White Ascension.
• Choose to be an augmenter or a conjurer. Your origin decides your affinities and which elements you can master: human of Sapin, elf of Elenoir, dwarf of Darv, half-elf or Alacryan.
• Learn 75 abilities across fire, water, earth, wind, pure mana and the deviant arts. Each one has its own cartoon-style effects and limb-by-limb casting animations, and the most powerful ones get short cinematic cutscenes.
• Manage strain, backlash and overfill, learn Mana Rotation and Mirage Walk, and when your core turns white, fly.

Mana beasts and bonds

• Hunt mana beasts from class E to S, from snarlers and cave rats to the Elderwood Guardian and the corrupted Hades serpent. Harvest their cores and absorb their power.
• Bond with a beast and grow with it, or find Sylvia’s cave and the dragon egg she left behind.

A story told in acts

• Act I: Ashber, the Leywin family, the Twin Horns and your first steps as a mage.
• Act II: Blackbend, the Adventurer’s Guild and a name behind a mask.
• Act III: the floating city of Xyrus and its academy, the Helstea auction, Elenoir and Darv, the Dire Tombs, and the attack on the academy.
• Act IV: the war with Alacrya. Hold the Wall, descend into Hell’s Jaw against Uto, defend Etistin at the Bloodfrost Battle, survive the fall of the Castle, become a candidate for the Lances, and take Dicathen back.
• Act V: Windsom’s invitation to Epheotus, and training under Windsom, Kordri, Lady Myre and Wren Kain IV.

A living war

• The world moves through the war’s phases: peace, skirmishes, invasion, Bloodfrost, occupation and reclamation. Alacryan squads, corrupted beasts and wraiths roam as the war turns.
• Claim limited seats: become one of Dicathen’s six Lances with your own code name, or the Regent of Dicathen.

• Large hand-built locations: Ashber, Blackbend, Xyrus Academy, Zestier, Vildorial, the Dire Tombs, the Wall, Hell’s Jaw, Etistin, the Council’s Castle, and the floating islands of Epheotus.
• Djinn teleport gates and carriage routes between the cities.
• Detailed 3D weapons, from steel longswords to the Asuran Blade and Dawn’s Ballad.
• An in-game codex, a journal for every act, and a guide that always points you to your next step.
