StringStrike

StringStrike reimagines the bow as a self-sustaining, combo-driven weapon. Arrows you shoot never feel wasted: if a shot misses all enemies and stays within recovery range, it automatically flies back to you, so you stop scavenging the ground after every fight. On top of recovery, StringStrike adds a dual-style kill system, an extended full-draw power state, and a bow kill-streak buff — built for survival bosses, mob farms, trial chambers, raids, and crowd-clearing with a single bow.

Switch styles with Z at any time. Blood Burst favors sustain: when an enemy dies to your arrow, you restore health; if you are already at full health, the kill instead grants temporary bonus health (an overshield-like buffer, similar in feel to the extra health from enchanted golden apples, without altering your normal max health). Grim Reaper Execute favors area denial and chain kills: an arrow-killed enemy is briefly frozen and wrapped in condensed black mist; any other enemy that walks into that mist is also frozen and executed, and the effect can spread further if more enemies enter the expanding execution field — ideal for tightly packed groups.

For raw damage, keep the bow fully drawn past the vanilla full charge and hold for 3 more seconds to gain String Brake. Shots fired in this state deal increased arrow damage and apply impact knockback. For momentum, every enemy you kill with your arrows builds the Kill Streak buff, up to 3 stacks, granting movement-speed bonuses and faster draw/charge speed so prolonged fights keep accelerating.

All mechanics are configurable: recovery range, whether missed arrows return, Blood Burst heal amount and overshield rules, Grim Reaper mist radius/duration/chain depth, String Brake hold time/damage/knockback, streak duration and per-stack bonuses, and compatibility toggles for other archery or combat mods.
