Licochpo’s Arthropods

For ScrubLord9000, since for now you’re the only one with the link to this. If you’d like to communicate via another platform it could be done. Also, if you want to add arthropods yourself I could show you how and add them in the mod!

What’s in the mod:

-nets and waterloggable aquariums. The net can be used to catch bugs. There is currently no way to make them spawn.
-A box to display your insects. It goes on top of an item frame (place it in the small space of the block behind that the item frame does not cover)
-Arthropods

Most of them have animations when they fly or collide with the player. Some fly only at night. If I remember correctly, most don’t breed but can be fed. Try apples, flies, honey bottles, mosquitoes, oak saplings, rotten flesh and sugar, depending on the bug you’re trying to feed.

Also, the mosquitoes 😭
They bite you, their belly gets full of blood, and when they touch water they become not-bloody again and after some time a larvae spawns in the water. They’re my babies, I love them

Colliding with the ticks will put them in your armor slots if you don’t have armor. Craft them to turn them back into normal ticks. The texture it gives you when equipped is bugged.

What I was planning to do before I forgot about the mod:
-Adding a way to spawn arthropods that isn’t the net (cause it would spawn more things when trying to catch bugs)
-More arthropods
-Changing the latin names to the english ones, but keeping the latin under it (it would be like the morph in the name of my isopods)
-More arthropods
-Adding different textures to the arthropods for when they’re in the inventory instead of reusing the mantis and scarab ones.
-Debugging some textures
-More arthropods
-Reducing the speed of the flying insects
-Uniformising the size of everything

For real, knowing someone’s interested in this mod might just give me the motivation to finish it!
