Unbound Facility is a Minecraft mod that transports players into a sprawling, procedurally generated SCP-style underground laboratory. Upon entering the dimension, players spawn in a guaranteed office room that serves as the anchor and entry point to the subterranean complex. The facility is structured into five distinct “rings” of escalating danger, separated by configurable keycard-locked doors. This ring-based progression forces players to delve deeper into the labyrinth, unlocking new sectors and uncovering the dark secrets hidden within the facility’s depths.

At the heart of the mod is a highly customizable, data-driven generation engine that translates a 2D carving algorithm into fully realized 3D structures. The layout is composed of interconnected hallways and diverse room types, ranging from randomized procedural spaces filled with loot chests, crates, and workstations, to pre-defined set rooms.
