It is a bipedal carnivorous dinosaur from the Late Jurassic period (approximately 153–148 million years ago). Its name translates to "horned lizard," referring to the distinctive bony horn on its snout. It reached lengths of 5–7 meters and weighed up to 1 ton. This adaptation allows it to feed on virtually any meat, rotten flesh, or bones. It can also use special abilities to aid in hunting other creatures.

■ How to become a Ceratosaur?

■ – At the game’s start, you’ll be given a choice menu of several creatures to transform into. If you cancel your selection with ESC, you can return to it later via your inventory. An alternative method is to use the Dragon Altar from Dragon Survival.

■ Features

• Ramming Horn – A quick horn ram on whatever you are aiming at: damage and several blocks of knockback. The cast is short and you can keep moving through it. Reach and force grow with your growth stage.
• Stomp – The Ceratosaurus lifts its right hind leg and drives it into the ground. Everything alive within 2-20 blocks (the reach grows with you) takes damage and slowness. From the third level the shock throws them about a block into the air.
• Territorial Roar – A roar sweeps the area: enemies get weakness and mining fatigue. From growth 60 it carries real dread — for a few seconds everything alive, hostile mobs included, bolts away. Radius and duration grow with your growth stage.
• Scent – You smell the living for dozens of blocks — creatures are outlined through walls.
• Rest – The Ceratosaurus lies down anywhere — it will not skip the night, but after 5 seconds the body starts mending faster. While you are down, reserve, health, fullness and breath slowly refill, and blows land softer. Stay down as long as you like — up to two minutes, or until you rise.
• Septic Bite – A scavenger’s mouth is full of filth: bites inflict poison and hunger.
• Fresh Kill – Killed prey quickly refills your reserve. Every carcass makes you grow a little.
• Blade Teeth – Your bites leave deep ragged wounds — the target bleeds. Passively increases melee damage.
• Carrion Feast – Rotten flesh does not harm you, it feeds you: while carrion churns in your gut your reserve refills. This is your main source of power — you have no ordinary regeneration.
• Night Eyes – In darkness you see as if by day. Higher levels keep working in brighter light.
• Osteoderms – Bony scutes along the spine grant armour, toughness and knockback resistance.
• Hunter’s Stride – Speed, step height and safe fall distance grow with level.
