What exactly does this mod do?

‎It restores the original dimming and blurring effects in the game menu, making it look just like it did in beta version 1.8.1. The mod aims to bring back the old aesthetic of a darker, lonelier Minecraft, so if you’re after a bit more of that “doomer-like” moods, this mod is perfect for you, as you’ll always see it in action the moment you launch the game!

Why did I create this mod? To add more of the game’s original, darker atmosphere.

‎In the screenshots, you can see the difference before and after installing the mod. Attention, the difference between BEFORE and AFTER installing the mod is clearer in the game itself than in the screenshots in the description.

‎I created this mod. I’ve thoroughly tested the mod for bugs and fixed them, but if you find a bug or an incompatibility with any other mod, please let us know in the comments – we’ll try to fix it in future versions!

‎You are free to use this and our other mods anywhere you like, customize them to your liking, include them in your mod packs, port them to other versions, and so on. Just be sure to credit the mod’s author.

Что конкретно делает этот мод?
