Ofrenda (Día de Muertos)

Ofrenda brings the Mexican Día de Muertos to Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge). Build an altar your way, dedicate it to someone who’s gone, and during the nights of the season their soul comes back to visit.

We don’t celebrate death: we celebrate that someone lived.

FEATURES

The ofrenda: stackable altar steps (2, 3 or 7 levels), a 3×3 grid per step where any item can be placed and rendered in miniature, papel picado skirts and dyeable tablecloths. Fill 7 of the 10 traditional elements (water, salt, light, flowers, copal, bread, sugar skulls, portraits, food and papel picado) to complete it: a bell rings and monarch butterflies arrive.

Souls that visit: fill in a custom portrait (name, age, description, photo or skin) in a tin or golden frame, place it on a complete ofrenda and its soul visits on season nights. Pets come back through their collar.

The nights of the dead (Oct 28 – Nov 2, server clock, configurable): spirit alebrijes, angelitos on Nov 1 (bring candy and toys), and on Nov 2 the great night with lilac fog, animal spirits and a distant mariachi.

La Catrina and Mictlantecuhtli rise from Mictlán with quests to help the souls.

Xoloitzcuintle: tameable dog that turns into an alebrije with a cempasúchil flower.

Mariachis, catrines y catrinas, a flower vendor, playable violin, trumpet and guitarrón, charro hats.

Decoration: sugar skulls (decorate them and write a name), papel picado and garlands (6 designs × 7 colors), cempasúchil arch and crown, candles, copal incense, gravestone, Lotería with boards and decks.

Crops and food: corn, chile and cempasúchil; pan de muerto, pozole, mole, tamales, enchiladas, hot chocolate, atole, café de olla and more.

Compat: optional Farmer’s Delight integration; Mexican’s Delight food counts as an offering; uses common corn/chile/tortilla tags (Croptopia and similar).

Fully translated to English and Spanish (es_mx, es_es, es_ar, es_cl, es_ec, es_uy, es_ve).

Compatible con Farmer’s Delight. La temporada va del 28 de octubre al 2 de noviembre (configurable).
