Resource Brushing Mod

The Resource Brushing Mod is a progression and resource gathering mod heavily inspired by the classic mod “Ex nihilo”. To get resources with this mod though, you will have to become a brush expert!

Here is everything you need to know about the tools and machinery you will be mastering:

Progressive 3D Brushing

To get your raw materials, you will be getting your hands dirty with 3D block-brushing. As you move your custom Brushes over blocks like gravel, sand, or moss, they will physically wear down layer-by-layer right before your eyes using 3D model stages. But don’t walk away mid-brush! If you leave a block alone, it will organically crumble and regenerate back into its solid base state over time. Keep going until the final stage to shatter the block and claim your rewards!

Machinery

Once you’ve mastered manual brushing, it’s time to step up your resource generation with custom, processing machinery:

• Composter: This biological processor lets you dump organic waste to decompose it into dirt.
• Liquifier: A furnace-like machine designed to melt solid geological blocks down into functional fluids. Feed it stones to brew fresh lava, or stuff it with organic foliage to extract clean water.

Crushing Hammers

Ready to smash some blocks? You’ll be using hammers to break down materials into their sub-components. Examples would be crushing cobblestone into gravel, gravel into dirt, and dirt into sand. However, wood or stone hammers are physically too weak to process compressed block variants.

Mod Compatibility

This mod is fully compatible with JEI (Just Enough Items). For the best experience, it is recommend to using JEI version 15.58.0.209 or higher to ensure all custom recipe tabs render correct!
