# Banana Monkey

Ever wanted to swing through the jungle like Spider-Man? Eat a banana, turn into a monkey, and fling yourself from vine to vine!

## Features
– **Banana** – a new food item. Eating one turns you into a monkey for 4 minutes.
– **Monkey Form** – you become small and fast, jump higher, take no fall damage, and get a custom monkey model.
– **Vine swinging** – grab any vine you’re looking at and swing on a real rope. Build speed, reel in, and launch yourself off the end.
– **See other players swing** – on a server, everyone with the mod can see each other’s ropes.
– **Jungle drops** – bananas have a small chance to drop from jungle leaves.

## How to play
1. Get a banana: break jungle leaves, or use `/give @s bananamonkey:banana`.
2. Eat it (hold right-click). You are now a monkey!
3. Look at a vine and **hold R** to grab on.
4. While swinging: **W** pumps the swing, **Space** reels the rope in.
5. **Release R** to let go and fly. Press R again on another vine to chain swings.

The swing key can be changed in Controls > Key Binds > Banana Monkey. Drinking milk turns you back into a human.

## Works on
vines, cave vines, weeping vines and twisting vines. Server owners and pack makers can add more blocks by editing the `bananamonkey:swingable` block tag.

## Servers
Install the mod on the server and on every player’s game. Because swinging keeps you in the air for a long time, set `allow-flight=true` in `server.properties` so players don’t get kicked for flying.

## Known limitations
While in monkey form, held items, armor and name tags are not shown.
