Why this mod?

I was watching some YouTube video about dolphin tunnels, when I saw signs being used to block off a 3×3 of water. I thought that looked kinda ugly, so I had the idea to make some sort of forcefield that could block fluids. Hopefully this mod helps with that.

Impenduit Pylons

Low-powered forcefield emitters. Requires mirrored setup up to 24 blocks away.

Right click any pylon with a Heart of the Sea to activate the field; right click any pylon containing a Heart of the Sea with any Pickaxe to deactivate it. This also works with dispensers!

When placing Pylons, they always face towards you, with the axis being determined by the target block face clicked.

Notably, Impenduit Fields can replace any block with a hardness of 0 that isn’t a full block when spawning. This drops the block’s loot!

Impenduit Fields

Emitted by Impenduit Pylons. Treats entities contacting them as being in rain. You can walk on them if you have Frost Walker!

They also change color according to the biome’s water color!

Compat

EMI is recommended, but I did add a proper recipe advancement granted upon the obtaining of a Heart of the Sea, so you can go for that if you want.
