End Reclaimed

End Reclaimed expands Minecraft’s End into a living, explorable dimension without losing its mysterious vanilla atmosphere. Discover new resources, structures, trees, creatures, equipment, and survival mechanics as you gradually terraform barren End islands into vibrant Chromithium Fields. Reclaim the void and make the End your home.

At the heart of the mod is Chromithium, a living material capable of spreading across End Stone and gradually terraforming the dimension. Plant the Essence of Nature to grow a Chromithium Tree and begin converting the surrounding landscape into the mystical Chromithium Fields biome. As the environment changes, new plants, trees, creatures, particles, sounds, fog, clouds, and occasional purple drizzle bring life to the void.

Chromithium does not spread without limits. Water sources and naturally created Energized Chromithium Trees support its continued growth, turning terraforming into a deliberate process.

Exploration and World Generation

The End now contains additional resources and remnants of its mysterious past:

• Petrified Debris, a rare Ancient Debris-like material hidden inside End islands.
• Onyx Ore, the End’s equivalent to Nether Quartz, complete with decorative building blocks.
• Ancient petrified trees that allow you to begin the terraforming process.
• Rare fossil structures made from coal blocks.
• Energized Chromithium Trees that can emerge as spreading Chromithium overtakes chorus plants.
• New vegetation, including Chromithium Grass, Chromithium Blooms, and Void Violets.
• The dynamic Chromithium Fields biome, created directly through player terraforming.

Equipment and Progression

Petrified Debris can be smelted into Purpur Scrap, which combines with diamonds to create Purpur Ingots. These materials are used alongside a special smithing template to upgrade diamond equipment into Purpur gear.

A complete set of Purpur armor grants immunity to explosion damage, while a complete set of Netherite armor grants immunity to fire and lava damage. These set bonuses work across dimensions and can be disabled through the mod configuration.

Additional utility items include:

• Energized Chorus Fruit, which teleports you toward the block you are looking at.
• The Void Countermeasure, an emergency device that rescues players who fall toward the End’s void.
• The Onyx Emitter, used to ignite special portals connecting the End and Nether.

Chromithium and Energized Chromithium are complete wood families with their own:

• Logs, wood, stripped logs, and stripped wood
• Planks
• Stairs and slabs
• Fences and fence gates
• Doors and trapdoors
• Buttons and pressure plates
• Signs and hanging signs

Onyx also offers a collection of decorative blocks inspired by the Quartz family, including smooth, brick, pillar, stair, and slab variants.

Living in the End

End Reclaimed expands the End from a destination into a survivable home:

• Beds can safely be used in the End instead of exploding.
• Players can set an End respawn point while retaining their most recently assigned Overworld bed.
• Custom obsidian portals can connect the End and Nether at a straightforward 1:1 coordinate ratio.

Advancements

New advancements guide players through the mod’s major discoveries and mechanics, including finding petrified forests, uncovering Petrified Debris, beginning the reclamation of the End, using Energized Chorus Fruit, traveling through an End-Nether portal, and sleeping beneath the End’s sky.
