Elaria

Die once. Be reborn in another world. The only way home is through the Demon King.

Elaria is a story-driven isekai RPG for Minecraft. Every player starts in the normal Minecraft world, the Home World. The first time you die there, you don’t respawn: you are reincarnated. In the Soul Realm, between the worlds, the Goddess offers you a Blessing. Then you wake up in the Starting Town of Elaria, a hand-designed continent with its own regions, people, dungeons and bosses. You can’t leave until the Demon King has fallen.

The journey

• Reincarnation. Your first death in the Home World leaves a Grave with everything you carried and takes you to the Soul Realm. There the Goddess offers you a choice of Blessings.
• Six regions, one road. You travel through the Verdant Cradle, the Elderwood, the Ironpeak Highlands, the Sunscar Steppe and the Ashen Marches to the Demon King’s Domain. The Main Quest always shows you where to go next.
• Four Demon Generals, four Seals. Sylvara, Ignivar, Garrok and Morvane each rule a region from a fortress, and each holds a Seal on the Barrier around the Demon King’s Domain. Break all four and the Barrier falls.
• The way home. Defeat the Demon King and the Return Gate opens. It takes you back to the Home World and from then on lets you travel between both worlds.

Growing strong

• Status Window (K). Shows your Level, four Attributes (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Vitality), Adventurer Rank and Skills.
• 8 Blessings, such as Undying Will, Dragon Blood, Pocket Dimension and Sword Saint. Each Awakens into a stronger stage at Level 20 and again at Level 40.
• Weapon Types: Sword, Greatsword, Bow and Staff, each with its own animated Basic Attack chain. There are 12 learnable Skills, such as Whirlwind, Fireball, Rain of Arrows and Chain Lightning, from Skill Books and bosses.
• The Adventurers’ Guild. Take Guild Quests, pass Rank Exams and rise from Rank F to S. Side Quests from townsfolk come with their own dialogue.
• Titles for deeds, and Appraisal to read an enemy’s Level, danger and Elite Traits.

Gear and loot

• Rarity runs from Common to Legendary, with random Affixes on Rare gear and above.
• Gear Sets with Set Bonuses, and Legendary weapons such as Oathkeeper and Wyrmfang.
• Enhancement from +0 to +10 at the blacksmith, Sockets and Runes, and cursed Epic gear that carries a boon and a bane.
• Coins for trading with the Otherworld’s towns.

Combat

• Dodge through attacks. Dangerous enemy attacks are telegraphed by a wind-up or a marking on the ground.
• Bosses with Signature Mechanics that reshape their arenas, including the Goblin Chieftain, King Slime, the Ancient Treant, the Slumbering Dragon, the four Demon Generals and the Demon King.
• 11 Dungeons, among them a goblin warren, a webbed outpost, a caldera forge, a bone colosseum and an abyssal citadel.
• Elite enemies carry random Elite Traits and drop better loot.

The world

• Custom biomes, structures and towns with townsfolk, built for the mod and fitted to the terrain.
• Wayshrines to fast travel between the ones you have activated, and a map of the places you have found.
• Cutscenes, title cards, an original soundtrack selection for every region and boss, and end credits when you go home.
• Players who finish the game may find that the story isn’t quite over.

Multiplayer

Elaria is built for playing with friends and runs on dedicated servers. All rules run on the server, and bosses scale with the number of fighters.

Requirements

• Minecraft 26.1.2 with NeoForge (Java 25).
• Player Animation Library, required on the client only. The CurseForge app installs it for you. A dedicated server does not need it.
• Recommended: start a new world. The story begins with your first death in the Home World.
• Optional: Elaria looks good without shaders and supports Complementary Reimagined (with labPBR) through Iris.

Default keys

All keys can be changed in Minecraft’s controls menu.
