Joe Mama Journey

Joe Mama Journey is an independently maintained, unofficial branch of Divine Journey 2 for Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge. It provides one versioned installation for a group of friends, with future compatible additions released together through CurseForge.

The foundation includes Divine Journey 2’s connected technology and magic progression, questbook, custom recipes, exploration, dimensions, and dungeon content. This branch preserves that foundation so everyone can play the same pack version.

Current version

0.1.0-baseline is based on Divine Journey 2 2.23.4 and retains its original mod selection, quests, recipes, scripts, configuration, and assets. No additional mods or gameplay changes have been added yet. The exported archive has been checked for the required pack files; launch and multiplayer testing of this branch have not yet been performed.

Future releases will list the actual mods added, removed, or updated, configuration changes, and testing performed. Additions must support Minecraft 1.12.2 and Forge and work with the pack’s custom progression.

Playing and updating together

Install Joe Mama Journey from this project’s CurseForge page. Keep player profiles linked to this project and leave content management disabled on those player copies. When a new approved release is available, use CurseForge’s Update/Change Version control. All players and any dedicated server should use matching versions.

Credits and source

The original Divine Journey 2 pack was created by Atricos (AtricosHU) and is maintained by WaitingIdly, with contributions from the Divine Journey 2 team. Credit for the inherited pack design and content belongs to those contributors. This branch is unofficial and is not endorsed by them.

Inherited pack code and configuration retain GNU GPLv3 licensing and their existing notices. Individual mods and separately licensed components retain their own licenses and attribution. Report problems caused by this branch’s future additions to this project.
