This modpack is built around exploration, survival, horror, and discovery, designed for small multiplayer groups who want Minecraft to feel like an adventure rather than simply a progression checklist.

The world has been dramatically expanded with new terrain, biomes, caves, structures, and dimensions. Terralith and Regions Unexplored make the surface worth getting lost in, while YUNG’s Better Caves gives the underground its own sense of scale and danger. Beneath the familiar Overworld lies an expanded underground world that becomes increasingly strange the further you venture.

And then there is the SCP Foundation.

With SCP: Lockdown, exploration isn’t always rewarded with treasure. Some discoveries are better left alone. The world contains things that don’t follow the rules you thought Minecraft operated by, turning abandoned structures, underground facilities, and seemingly ordinary locations into potential threats.

The pack also emphasizes immersion and multiplayer interaction. Simple Voice Chat—and the experimentation with radio communication—allows players to actually communicate across their world, making expeditions feel more like expeditions and encounters with something unexpected considerably more tense.

This isn’t intended to be a modpack where you rush through a quest book, defeat a final boss, and call it finished.
