NewDynasty

Dynasty (王朝) is a quest-driven adventure and combat modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.10 and Java 17, inspired by Chinese history and mythology.

Follow the main quest line, explore structures and other dimensions, and challenge bosses including the Dragon Emperor, the Heavenly General and the East Sea Dragon King. Develop your equipment through weapon evolution and forging, and build around swordplay, archery, defensive combat or Taoist techniques.

The pack includes:

• A Chinese quest book with main quests, side quests and four combat paths.
• Custom weapons, armor, Curios accessories, alchemy, food and potions.
• Structure and creature compasses, maps, JEI recipes and item-source information.
• Currency, imperial examinations, NPC services, troop recruitment and a freely arranged army formation.
• Original item art, clearer tooltips and a health display showing actual current and maximum health.
• Performance and quality-of-life mods, including vein mining and inventory conveniences.

The main quest text and many tutorials are written in Chinese; item names support Chinese and English. Import the modpack archive in a compatible launcher and let it install the listed dependencies. Back up existing worlds before updating.

The 2026-10-21 update includes the latest artwork and quest presentation, search and naming fixes, wood-recipe compatibility, health and potion display fixes, and export validation fixes. This project remains in active development.
