# DragonMineZ Friends SMP Pack

A custom Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge modpack built around a long-form Dragon Ball story experience. This pack combines DragonMineZ combat and sagas with space travel, planet claiming, colony building, and quality-of-life tools so a small group of friends can play through the story together instead of rushing it alone.

This is not a kitchen-sink pack. It is focused on one theme: training, fighting through the Dragon Ball sagas, exploring space, and building a shared world.

## What This Pack Changes

Vanilla Minecraft is about mining, crafting, and surviving. This pack turns that into a Dragon Ball progression server:

– You create a custom fighter instead of a default Steve. – You train stats (STR, RES, VIT, PWR, and more) instead of only upgrading armor and tools. – Story bosses replace the usual “just go fight the Ender Dragon” loop. – After the Frieza saga unlocks space travel, you can leave Earth, visit planets, claim them, or destroy them. – You can still build towns and colonies while the story is happening, so the world does not stay empty between fights.

A new player’s first hours look like this: create a character, turn on the overlay and fix eye placement for the full look, find Heat Zones, put on weighted clothing, grind Training Points, then work toward being strong enough for Raditz. Later, the same world opens into Namek, deep space, and planet conquest.

## Main Features

### DragonMineZ Story Combat DragonMineZ is the core of the pack. Players create a race and class, spend Training Points into stats, learn ki attacks, and work through the official sagas.

What this means in play: – Early game is training and survival, not instant Super Saiyan. – Saga bosses are the main content. Raditz, Vegeta, Frieza, Cell, and Buu are the checkpoints. – Forms start weak and become strong when mastered. A new transformation is not a free win. – Hard Mode is enabled and tuned for a longer server lifespan, so fights stay threatening as players get stronger.

Example: beating Raditz is meant to take real training. Players should expect to grind Heat Zones, use weighted gear, and invest in RES and VIT before the first major fight feels even.

### Training Systems That Matter Training is not optional flavor. It is the main progression.

Included training tools: – Heat Zones for early grinding, loot, and point gain. Leveling a Heat Zone improves the rewards. – Weighted clothing and gear that can multiply Training Point gain, including quest reward claims if weights are equipped first. – Gravity training and the Hyperbolic Time Chamber once unlocked. – Form mastery in the Time Chamber. New forms are weak at first. Taking a form to 100% mastery is one of the largest power spikes in the pack.

Example: a player who ignores weights and Heat Zones will take much longer to reach saga bosses than a player who trains correctly.

### Quality of Life and Multiplayer Tools The pack also includes the support mods needed for a small private SMP:

– Voice chat for proximity talk during training and fights. – Standard performance and UI helpers so the pack is playable on a hosted server. – Configured DragonMineZ settings aimed at a 4–5 month friends server, not a one-weekend power race.
