**Rare, dramatic weather events that transform your world.**

Four kinds of tempest roll in with a warning, take over the sky, the fog and the air, bring their own
creatures, and leave something valuable behind. Forecast them, shelter from them, and profit from them.

## 🌪️ The Four Tempests

### 🌫️ Ash Storm
Grey-black ash and falling embers swallow the horizon. Breathing it outside builds up **Ash Choke**,
a stacking slowness and weakness. **Ashen** shamble through the haze and burst into blinding ash
clouds when they die.
*Rewards:* Ash Residue (smelts into Cinderglass) and the rare **Ember Core**.

### 💎 Glass Rain
Luminous crystal shards fall from a shifting, prismatic sky and cut anything left in the open.
**Ordinary glass roofs won’t save you!** **Prisms** fire split arrow volleys and refract your
arrows right back.
*Rewards:* **Shardglass Clusters** grow wherever the shards land. Mine them (Fortune works) for
Shardglass Shards.

### 🩸 Bloodfog
A crimson fog crawls along the ground under a blood-red sky. Monsters grow stronger, your wounds
refuse to close, and **Bloodbound** spiders heal with every bite.
*Rewards:* Vein Essence and the rare **Hemocrystal**.

### ⚡ Stormcharge
A violent lightning storm that hunts for tall metal. Every strike **charges copper**, turning it
into glowing **Charged Copper** that powers redstone or discharges into **Voltaic Sparks**.
**Voltaic** spirits chain lightning between everything nearby.
*Tip:* bait strikes with lightning rods on copper, far away from your base!

## 🔭 See It Coming
– **A generous warning** before every tempest: the sky shifts, thunder rumbles from the direction
  it’s coming from, a toast pops up, and villagers run indoors.
– **Stormglass Barometer:** right-click it for a forecast, or hang it on a wall for a live animated
  dial. Comparators read the intensity!
– **Tempest Almanac:** a screen showing the forecast, an intensity gauge, and how to counter each
  tempest.
– **Tempest Siren:** wails while a tempest gathers and outputs a redstone signal, so your doors and
  shutters can close themselves.

## 🏠 Survive It
– **Real shelter:** you need a solid roof *and* closed walls. Glass panes, fences and open doors let
  the weather in.
– **Storm Shutters & Reinforced Windows** seal your openings.
– **Stormward Anchor:** fuel it with Ember Cores or Hemocrystals to project a shimmering dome where
  no tempest can touch you.
– **Weatherproof Armour:** each piece counters one tempest, and the full set grants immunity.
  Upgrade it to fireproof **Ashforged Armour**.
– **Stormglass Pickaxe** (mines faster during tempests) and the **Prism Lens** (reveals tempest
  creatures).

## 📦 Compatibility
– **Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.10+**. No other mods required.
– Works in **singleplayer, LAN, dedicated servers and modpacks** (install it on both client and
  server).
– No Mixins, so it is very unlikely to conflict with other mods.

## ❓ FAQ
**When does the first tempest happen?** About 20–40 minutes into a new world, then every 40–90
minutes. Everything is configurable.

**Will lightning burn my base?** No. Stormcharge lightning doesn’t start fires unless you enable it
in the config.

**Can I use this in my modpack?** **Yes!** Go ahead, no need to ask. Servers and videos are welcome
too.
