Crisp Korean text and built-in Korean typing for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge).

Galmuri Hangul replaces Minecraft’s blurry Unifont Hangul with the Galmuri pixel font, and lets you type Korean directly in the game without relying on your OS input method.

Korean font

• All 11,172 modern Hangul syllables, compatibility jamo, CJK punctuation, kana and fullwidth forms drawn with the Galmuri pixel font.
• Pixel-perfect at every GUI scale. Each scale uses the Galmuri size (7 / 11 / 14) whose height matches vanilla Latin letters, drawn at an exact integer pixel size, so strokes are always even.

• Text shadow, bold and glow-ink-sign outlines follow the Galmuri strokes instead of smearing.
• Signs, books and in-world text always use the standard Galmuri11 size, so every player sees the same layout.

Korean typing

• Built-in Dubeolsik (2-set) composition. The syllable you are composing is shown underlined, and Backspace removes one jamo at a time.
• Works in chat, commands, anvils, signs, books (pages and titles), creative and recipe-book search, JEI and EMI search, and most other text boxes.
• Right Alt (Han/Yeong key) toggles Korean/English. You can rebind it in Controls → Galmuri Hangul. A small 한 / A badge shows the current mode.
• On Windows, the game window’s IME is turned off. Movement keys keep working even if your OS input method is set to Korean.

Settings

Mods → Galmuri Hangul → Config

• Pixel-perfect snapping (on by default). Turn it off to draw Galmuri11 at the plain vanilla resource-pack scale.
• Start in Korean input (off by default).

Compatibility

• Works with Sodium, Iris, ImmediatelyFast, JEI and EMI.
• If KoreanPatch, caramelChat or CocoaInput is installed, Galmuri Hangul turns off its own typing features and keeps only the font. If ModernUI is installed, it turns off pixel snapping. A notification on the title screen tells you what was turned off.
• Client-side only. Not needed on servers.

Known limitations

• Dubeolsik only. Sebeolsik is not supported yet.
• Automatic IME control is Windows only. On macOS and Linux, keep your OS input method in English and use Right Alt to switch.

Font only (no mod)

Each release also has a stand-alone resource pack, galmurihangul-pack-<version>.zip. It works without the mod, but it is only fully sharp at GUI scale 3 and 6.

갈무리한글

마인크래프트 1.21.1 (NeoForge)에서 한글을 선명하게 보여 주고, 게임 안에서 바로 입력할 수 있게 해 줍니다.

바닐라의 흐릿한 Unifont 한글을 갈무리 픽셀 폰트로 바꾸고, OS 입력기 없이 게임 안에서 한글을 입력할 수 있게 합니다.

한글 폰트

• 현대 한글 11,172자, 호환 자모, CJK 기호, 가나, 전각 문자를 갈무리 픽셀 폰트로 출력합니다.
• 모든 GUI 크기에서 픽셀이 정확히 맞습니다. GUI 크기마다 영문과 높이가 같은 갈무리 크기(7·11·14)를 골라 정수 배율로 그리기 때문에 획 굵기가 항상 고릅니다.

• 그림자, 굵게, 발광 먹물 표지판의 테두리도 갈무리 획에 맞게 그려져 뭉개지지 않습니다.
• 표지판·책·월드 안 글자는 항상 갈무리11 기본 크기로 그려서, 모든 플레이어에게 같은 모양으로 보입니다.

한글 입력

• 두벌식을 게임 안에서 직접 조합합니다. 조합 중인 글자는 밑줄과 함께 바로 보이고, 백스페이스는 자모 단위로 지웁니다.
• 채팅, 명령어, 모루, 표지판, 책(본문·제목), 크리에이티브·레시피북 검색, JEI·EMI 검색창 등 대부분의 입력창에서 동작합니다.
• 오른쪽 Alt(한/영 키) 로 한글과 영문을 전환합니다. 조작 설정 → 갈무리한글에서 다른 키로 바꿀 수 있습니다. 입력창 옆 한 / A 표시로 현재 상태를 알 수 있습니다.
• Windows에서는 게임 창의 IME를 꺼 두므로, OS 입력기가 한글 상태여도 WASD 같은 조작 키가 막히지 않습니다.

설정

모드 목록 → 갈무리한글 → 설정

• 선명한 픽셀 정렬 (기본 켜짐): 끄면 갈무리11을 일반 리소스팩과 같은 배율로 그립니다.
• 한글 입력으로 시작 (기본 꺼짐)

호환성

• Sodium, Iris, ImmediatelyFast, JEI, EMI와 함께 동작합니다.
• KoreanPatch, caramelChat, CocoaInput이 함께 설치돼 있으면 갈무리한글의 입력 기능을 자동으로 끄고 폰트만 씁니다. ModernUI가 있으면 픽셀 정렬을 끕니다. 무엇을 껐는지는 타이틀 화면 알림으로 알려 줍니다.
• 클라이언트 전용입니다. 서버에는 설치하지 않아도 됩니다.

알려진 제한

• 두벌식만 지원합니다. 세벌식은 아직 지원하지 않습니다.
• IME 자동 제어는 Windows에서만 동작합니다. macOS·Linux에서는 OS 입력기를 영문으로 두고 오른쪽 Alt로 전환해 주세요.

폰트만 쓰기 (모드 없이)

배포 파일마다 독립 리소스팩 galmurihangul-pack-<버전>.zip이 함께 올라갑니다. 모드 없이도 쓸 수 있지만, GUI 크기 3·6에서만 완전히 선명합니다.
