Soft KeepInventory

A configurable version of KeepInventory that lets you keep your weapons, tools, armor, and experience while dropping everything else.

(Do not actually turn KeepInventory on when using this mod; the mod overwrites standard gameplay)

Dying deals damage to the durability of all of your tools and armor (default is 1/8th each item’s max durability), penalizing you for dying while still allowing you to get back to your other stuff you dropped without having to craft a bunch of junk you’ll never use again.

Optionally, you can also choose to keep a certain percentage of your experience levels on death, while dropping the remainder where you died (default is 50%; keep 50% of your levels, drop the other 50%).

Mainly inspired by Grounded 1’s death system (which works almost identically to this mod).
