TONI’s Mobs Lib

The core library behind TONI’s animal mods. It does nothing on its own — install it together with a mod that needs it, such as TONI’s Nature Mobs Expansion.

What it does

Each animal mod only describes its animals (stats, habitats, coat variants, behaviours, predators and prey), and the lib handles the rest:

• 🐾 Entities built automatically from one definition per animal
• 🎬 GeckoLib animations: idle, walk, run, sleep, swim, fly, stalk, eat, attack and custom idle actions
• 🌍 Natural spawns by biome or biome tag
• 🥚 Spawn eggs for every animal
• ⚙️ Config to tweak spawns
• 🎨 Coat variants, including biome-specific ones

Built-in behaviours

Skittish, herds that defend each other, fight back, nocturnal, sleep, swimmers, floaters, bottom walkers, tree climbers, real flight, slow fall, sideways walking, curling into a ball, territorial displays, grazing, plus predators that hunt their prey.
