FiguraXEMF Bridge

FiguraXEMF Bridge allows Figura to accurately read animations produced on the player model by Entity Model Features (EMF).

Why is this needed?

Normally, EMF runs its custom .jem and .jpm animations during rendering, whereas Figura reads player model poses earlier, immediately after PlayerModel.setupAnim. Because of this timing difference, Figura only sees the plain vanilla player pose instead of the EMF-animated pose.

This bridge forces EMF’s animations to process at the end of PlayerModel.setupAnim. Figura scripts and avatars can then read the actual animated positions and rotations without running the animation twice or impacting performance.

Features

• Full Compatibility: Figura avatars and scripts can interact with EMF-animated player parts.
• In-Game Toggle: Press F8 to enable or disable the bridge on the fly (rebindable under Options > Controls > Figura x EMF Bridge).
• Simple Config: Easily toggle via config/figuraxemf-bridge.properties (enabled=true|false).
• Fail-Safe Design: If EMF internals change or an error occurs, the bridge safely disables itself with a log warning instead of crashing your game.
