Penalty Removal Book with More Enchant

This mod introduces an Anvil Penalty Removal Book: that clears an item’s prior work penalty, along with 36 new enchantments. It also enhances the vanilla Silk Touch enchantment.

Penalty Removal Book: Place it in the right slot of an anvil with an item to remove that item’s prior work penalty (the skyrocketing experience cost from repeated repairs/combinations). Experience cost: Original penalty level × multiplier + extra levels (configurable; defaults to multiplier 1.0 and 8 extra levels).

New Enchantments

Gathering

• Smelting: Automatically smelts mined blocks into their finished products (e.g., Iron Ore → Iron Ingot). No furnace required.
• Vein Miner: Mines connected veins of ore, logs, leaves, and cobwebs in one go.
• Chain Break: Breaks connected stone, dirt, and sand-type blocks in a chain.
• Diamond Fortune: Chance to drop extra diamonds when mining blocks.
• Debris Fortune: Chance to drop extra Netherite Scraps when mining blocks.
• Transporter: Mining container blocks (chests, loot chests, brewing stands, furnaces, etc.) drops them as "intact" containers with all contents preserved.

Combat

• Life Steal: Heals you when dealing damage.
• Strong Slayer: Deals bonus damage based on the target’s maximum health.
• Illager Slayer: Deals bonus damage to illagers and witches, and inflicts Weakness.
• Cocktail: Inflicts a random potion effect on the target when hit.
• Decapitation: Chance to drop a mob’s head on kill.
• Undead Revival: Chance to summon a friendly zombie on kill to assist in combat.
• Undead Blood: Chance to infect Villagers, Piglins, and Hoglins into Zombie Villagers, Zombified Piglins, and Zoglins respectively on kill.
• Mark: Inflicts Glowing on attacked mobs.
• Magic Protection: Reduces magic damage taken.
• Containment: Chance to drop a mob’s spawn egg on kill.
• Plunder: Piglins drop extra bartering loot on death; Villagers, Wandering Traders, and other tradable mobs drop one random item from their trade inventory on death.

Survival / Mobility

• Shield: Periodically grants Absorption while wearing armor.
• Toughness: +1 Armor Toughness per level.
• Backbone: +2 Armor Points per level.
• Bargain: Reduces villager trade prices by 10% per level.
• Diving: Grants Water Breathing.
• Reach: Increases entity interaction range.
• Builder: Increases block placement/breaking range.
• Multi Jump: Allows additional mid-air jumps and increases safe fall distance.
• Speed: Increases movement speed.
• Cobweb Walker: Move through cobwebs unhindered.
• Gold Glitter: Prevents Piglins from becoming hostile (same effect as wearing gold armor).

Cosmetic / Misc

• Astigmatism: Applies an enchantment glint to items (purely cosmetic).

Negative Enchantments

• Curse of Nocturnal: Inflicts Blindness during daytime.
• Curse of Gluttony: Inflicts Hunger after using tools.
• Curse of Ender: Taking damage from water; chance to summon Endermites when injured.
• Bulky: Reduces attack speed.
• Curse of Infestation: Chance to spawn Silverfish when using tools.
• Smoldering Curse: Sets yourself on fire when taking damage.
• Lead Weight: Increases knockback resistance and gravity; decreases safe fall distance.

All enchantments can be toggled on/off, and their effect values, probabilities, and durations can be customized in the mod configuration.
