Untamed Horizons – a survival+ mod

My two friends and I have burned through… Oh IDK probably 8 handmade minecraft modded servers in the past 2 years. It always goes like this, we get really into it, make big plans for the world, immediately get the strongest gear within 2-3 days, then try to build a world worth living in while putting off killing the ender dragon since that feels like finishing the game and one guy never sticks around past that. We put our heads together to purposefully make a vanilla+ survival experience that slows down progression and makes us wanna play for signifigantly longer. Meet Distant Horizons (hopefully we didn’t steal the name from somewhere else), our brainchild and hopefully a fun modpack. DH is packed full of survival oriented mods, as well as ambiance, worldgen, and RPG elements since we’re nerds. I’m not gonna spoil much here, but enjoy starting at half health (possibly less with races), stay warm, and beware below Y30. The rest is up for you to explore.
