H1n0’s Sit

A small Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that lets you sit on suitable blocks.

Features

• Right-click an empty hand on the top face of a suitable block to sit down.
• Sneak to stand up.
• Up to two players can sit on the same block.
• Supported blocks:
  • Stairs
  • Slabs (not double slabs)
  • Beds (only while sleeping isn’t possible yet, i.e. during the day)
  • Azalea and flowering azalea
  • Big dripleaf (drops you once the leaf tilts fully)

Requirements

• Minecraft 26.1.2 (or 1.21.1—see the release files for the appropriate version)
• Fabric Loader
• Fabric API
• Java 25 (for 26.1.2) or Java 21 (for 1.21.1)
  The mod is required on both the server and all clients.

Installation

1. Install Fabric Loader using the official installer: https://fabricmc.net/use/
2. Download Fabric API for your game version.
3. Place h1n0s-sit-<version>.jar and Fabric API in your mods folder.

Sittable blocks (data tag)

Sittable blocks are defined by the h1n0s-sit:sittable tag (data/h1n0s-sit/tags/block/sittable.json). Other mods and data packs can add their own blocks to this tag without any changes to this mod’s code — a JSON file at the same path is enough.

Building from source

git clone https://github.com/h1n0/h1nosit.git cd h1nosit .\gradlew build

The built jar will be in build/libs/.
