Control Rain

A mod that allows you to manipulate the weather.

You can modify and maintain weather schedules or randomize how the weather affects your world.

The mod adds an automatic 12-month calendar with 4 seasons, rainy days, sunny days, cloudy days without rain, etc.

But you can modify it to your liking. I created the automatic calendar in case you have no intention of configuring anything and just want to play, although it starts in July, so all new maps start in that month.

It also adds a calendar that you can place in your world, where you can see the remaining duration of the current weather and what comes next, allowing scenarios such as months of drought or months of uninterrupted rain (which would actually be minutes or hours depending on how you configure it).

And no, sleeping no longer affects the weather. Whether it is clear, cloudy, or raining, when you wake up the weather will continue until its cycle ends in seconds, minutes, or hours.

It is configured with the “O” key and is very intuitive. You can set how long it stays sunny or rainy, determine if rain turns into a thunderstorm, and add several profiles that can be randomly combined.

This mod was created for a personal project and is designed mainly for map creation and specific custom map experiences, such as a zombie survival map with permanent rain, a medieval map with realistic seasons, or a city map where the weather matches the geographical location (since it doesn’t rain everywhere in the same way all year long).
