Lucario Morph

Why I made this

I was sad that there was no mod that let you play as Lucario. Since I LOVE Lucario ehh! One day, I decided to stop waiting for one to appear? Along the way, what started as something for me turned into something I could share, since my Lucario friends also enjoyed it, so… here it is. Hope you enjoy it too!

Well, as said, with this mod you can turn yourself into Lucario, Mega Lucario or Riolu with full 3D models, custom animations, emotes. And that’s not all. Your friends will also see you as Lucario, and which emotes you playing, if your friends have this mod installed too. Without installing it on the server. So yeah, this mod works even on Hypixel, for example.

Features

• 16 variants across Lucario and Riolu: Captain Lucario, Chef Lucario, Cafe Lucario, Concert Lucario, Sir Aaron Lucario, Holiday Lucario, Martial Arts Lucario, PMD & PSMD Lucario, Ruins Lucario, Space Lucario, PMD & PSMD Riolu.
• Every variant has a shiny version.
• Form picker: K by default
• Visible cape/elytra: You can choose to show or hide your cape.
• Fully animated: Drinking/eating, using ladder/vines, fishing, using crossbow/bow/trident… Holding map, shield, spear. You got it.
• Emotes: open the animation menu (J by default) and play dances or any animation of your current morph. Friends with the mod installed see them too

How to use it

You can change your appearance using commands like so:

/lucario [variant | shiny | off]
/riolu  [variant | shiny | off]

OR

K to open Form picker

J to open Emote menu

Installation

Requires: Fabric Loader · Fabric API

Client: Fabric Loader → Fabric API → this mod into mods/.

How sync works

On a server with no mod installed, clients sync through a small external sync service (HTTP + WebSocket). If the WebSocket channel is unavailable, the mod falls back to HTTP polling automatically, so sync keeps working either way.

What your client sends: your player UUID and the chosen morph+emote state, and that’s it. No chat, no position, no world data and etc ever leaves the client. The mod comes preconfigured with my sync service (its address is in config/lucariomorph.json), so it works out of the box. Sync is ON by default and can be turned OFF any time in the Mod Menu config screen (or the config file) — or point the mod to your own self-hosted sync server if you prefer.
