Custom NPC Updated Unofficial

This is a forked version of Noppes Custom NPCs Unofficial. It may contain many bugs or features that don’t match the original. I’m still trying to locate every structure the original had so I can make it as close as possible.

What is this mod?

This mod is a forked version of the Unofficial Custom NPC’s mod, an open-source mod that lets people edit and fork it. This mod includes all the original properties of the original mod, but also adds some small, unfinished implementations. This mod is not official whatsoever; it is unofficial from an unofficial.

What does it do?

Like the original, you can customize the NPCs however you see fit; you can change their behavior, add quests, dialogue, followers, traders, fast travel points, etc. This mod is the ultimate NPC mod: you can customize the NPC’s skin, turn it into any mob, and more, which is useful whether you’re building a story-driven narrative or just want to have fun.

What’s different?

My Version changed the UI and added minor unfinished features, such as abilities where NPCs can teleport, Block, etc. Of course, this mod was a complete rework from the ground up to accommodate Java 25. I also added more sound effects and skins for those who want more variety in Humans and Monsters. You can customize it for horror, adventures, quests, and more; the possibilities are endless.

Bugs?

Expect bugs and other things that may not match up 100%, but that’s why I am trying to locate every issue that doesn’t match the original. It’s hard to do, since this was built from the ground up, but I tried to make sure everything works like the original. I also squashed some bugs from the previous version, such as crashes when certain items weren’t finalized.
